Aurora Solutions Group Names Samantha Magee Communications and Development Director

Aurora Solutions Group has hired Samantha Magee as communications and development director, strengthening the firm’s capacity to support clients, enhance its communications platform and advance key initiatives, including stakeholder engagement, fundraising and development efforts for mission-driven organizations.


Magee brings more than 15 years of experience in communications, marketing and fundraising, with a background spanning corporate communication, media relations and donor engagement. In her role, she will work closely with Aurora leadership to lead strategic communications and messaging, stakeholder engagement and client communications, while also supporting business development and fundraising strategies for clients.

Prior to joining Aurora, Magee served as public relations and communications specialist at Danos, LLC, where she led communications and external relations for a 4,000-employee energy services organization. She previously held fundraising leadership roles at St. John’s School in Houston and began her career supporting advancement operations at the LSU Foundation.


Magee holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Houston’s C.T. Bauer College of Business and a bachelor’s degree in mass communication from Louisiana State University. Magee is a native of Thibodaux, Louisiana, where she lives with her husband Todd and their two sons, ages five and three.
