In April, Aurora Solutions Group President and Owner Lori LeBlanc served as moderator for the Closing Reflections Panel at the Powering Louisiana Forum, bringing together leaders from policy, industry, and economic development to conclude a day of forward-looking dialogue on Louisiana’s energy future.

The closing session focused on a central theme: how to move from conversation to action. Panelists reflected on the day’s key insights and explored how Louisiana can accelerate responsible development, strengthen local and regional benefits, and deepen the cross-sector collaboration needed to position the state as a national energy leader.

Moderated by LeBlanc, the discussion emphasized practical pathways forward, bridging perspectives across sectors and identifying opportunities to turn shared priorities into measurable progress.

The panel featured:

  • Chett Chiasson, Executive Director, Greater Lafourche Port Commission

  • Erin Bendily, Vice President, Pelican Institute on Public Policy

  • Amanda McClinton, Executive Director, Louisiana Department of Conservation and Energy

Through her facilitation, LeBlanc guided a candid and solutions-focused exchange, highlighting a consistent theme of the forum: meaningful progress depends on trust, alignment, and sustained collaboration between public and private sector partners.

The Powering Louisiana Forum serves as an important platform for advancing dialogue around the state’s energy landscape and the opportunities ahead for long-term growth and resilience.
